Sue Clearwater
WHO: Sue Clearwater is one of the female elders in La Push, Washington. Her and her husband, Harry, have two children, Leah and Seth. She’s also good friends with Billy Black (Jacob’s dad) and Charlie Swan (Bella’s dad). Billy describes Sue as a strong woman since she handled the news of her kids turning into werewolves fairly well.
LIFE AFTER HARRY: When Harry unfortunately passed, Sue took over his place as one of the council members. In Eclipse, Sue told stories of the Quileute legends at one of the council meetings that Bella attended. In Breaking Dawn, Sue and Charlie started hanging out more and became much closer. She started cooking and caring for him much like Bella did, probably since Bella was MIA and preoccupied with the drama in her life. However, Bella wasn’t missing so much from her father’s life that even she started to suspect that romantic feelings were a-brewin’ between him and Sue.
