Eric Yorkie
WHO: Eric Yorkie is another student at Forks High School that becomes friends with Bella. He’s described as 6’3" with very dark, black hair, brown eyes, with a poor complexion. Since he’s a little on the geeky side, it comes as no surprise that he ends up the valedictorian of his graduating class.
OVERACHIEVER? Eric took it upon himself to be the president of Bella’s welcome committee when she first arrived at Forks High School. Unfortunately for Eric, Bella thought he was a little too helpful and didn’t seem very interested in him. Perhaps his phrase "I’m the eyes and ears" of Forks High School turned Bella off? Eric didn’t escape the "Let’s Have a Crush on the New Girl Club" either, and even seemed resentful that Mike Newton was pursuing Bella too. He was also one of the several guys Bella rejected when they asked Bella to the spring dance.
However, he’s not completely devoid of hope in the ladies department. He and Angela Weber end up going to the dance together in the Twilight movie. And, later in the books, he’s seen with a girl named Katie Marshall so he must have some redeeming traits in there somewhere.
