Ben Cheney
WHO: Ben Cheney is described as a 5’7" Asian, with black hair and dark brown eyes and he attends Forks High School with the rest of the gang. His character was combined with Eric Yorkie’s character for the Twilight movies, which means Ben got the short end of the stick, since the people who haven’t read Twilight books have no idea who Ben Cheney is. But, I doubt that these two fictional characters would care who got to be onscreen, yes?
THE HAPPY BOYFRIEND: In the Twilight books, Ben is dating Angela Weber. He picks her up every day for school in his Dodge Neon so either he’s a little clingy or perhaps just really loving (I like to believe he’s loving). Angela seems to like the attention from him though, but is grateful for his friend Austin, who does the "guy" stuff with him. I take it she’s not into the graphic novels and martial arts films like he is?
EVERLASTING LOVE? Ben and Angela go to the prom together, where they’re seen by Bella, dancing happily. The two of them even attend a certain "someone’s" wedding and after graduation, they plan to go to University of Washington. All this togetherness and planning makes me think they’re the high school sweethearts that will stay together.
