Angela Weber
WHO: Angela Weber attends Forks High School with Bella, Jessica, Mike and the rest of the normal folks in town (except that the not so normal Cullens go to this high school too). She’s described as having light brown hair and in the film, wears cool, retro style glasses to frame her light brown eyes. She’s the older sister of two younger twin brothers, Isaac and Joshua, and the three of them are children of a Lutheran minister.
THE GENTLE FRIEND: Bella appears to prefer Angela’s company over Jessica’s. Could it be because Angela is much more on the quiet side? Or that she gives space to others and leaves them be? Both traits are welcomed by Bella since she has all of these unusual secrets she has to keep. More importantly though, Angela is genuinely nice and her and Bella develop a close friendship. She even helps Bella address her graduation invitations, something that I highly doubt Jessica would do.
BOOK VS MOVIE: A few changes were made with Angela’s character on the big screen. In the Twilight books, Ben Cheney ends up asking Angela to the school dance. She of course, says yes, and they begin dating. In the Twilight movie however, it appears that she goes to the dance with Eric Yorkie since they’re seen at the deejay booth together. Another difference between Movie Angela and Book Angela is that in the movie, she is the photographer for the school newspaper.
