Alistair
WHO: Alistair is a tall and pale nomadic vampire from England, with dark hair and red eyes that darken as he gets thirsty. Like the Cullens, he possesses a special ability other than the regular vampire traits: sensory attraction. This means that he feels an elusive pull towards a person’s location, which enables him to find that person. Another aspect of his skill is that he can feel when people are near or around him so he’s probably not one that you could sneak up on. His oldest acquaintance, Carlisle, considers him a skilled tracker, but noted that he would rather use them to avoid other vampires.
THE RUNAWAY: In the beginning, Alistair agreed to only be a witness for the Cullens (you’ll have to read the book to find out for what), but because of his paranoid, distrusting personality, Alistair left the Cullens before the Volturi could arrive. His concern was that even the truth wouldn’t stop the Volturi for finding a reason to fight. Was he right?
